On Tuesday the 16th Blair and I went to Aorangi marae to learn about their culture and the marae.
We went onto the grass (The Marae atea) and we did the outside activities. We organised ourselves into groups and worked together on each activity Kayla (me) worked with some of my friends in my group. After that we went inside the wharenui and lay down on the ground, looking at the pattens up on the roof. We drew the patterns and also we did a waiata (but only room 9). We had so much fun at Aorangi marae and we want to go again and again to learn more!
