Introducing Samantha

Hi!  I am Samantha.I am in room 9  at lytton street school. I am in Kea, the best house.

In room 9 we care and be nice to each other. Room 9 is also a no bully zone.Room 9 is the class that you learn in.

I am 9 years old and my birthday is in May, on the 7th. 

I have got Miss McFarlane the cool teacher.I love  being in room 9.

My best subjects are maths, reading, writing and art.

I have got 7  people in my family. My mum, dad, sister, brother, me, dog and cat. 

School is always fun. GO KEA.

Welcome to Zoe's blog!!!

Hi! My name is Zoe and I am in room 9 with the best teacher Miss McFarlane. I'm in Huia, the winning house. 

At the moment we are doing swimming, every day for two weeks. After that we will be holding the swimming sports and I am in the freestyle and back stroke. My times are [freestyle] 57 seconds and [backstroke] 1 minute and 7 seconds team for lengths.

I am also a road patroller. 

The things that I enjoy the most are reading, writing and art. 

 The thing that I want to get better at is speaking and acting in front of a large audience.

So far in my swimming I've learnt how to do breast stroke and I

can now swim in the middle of the pool! :-)

I like to be in Kea house cause it's the winning house and it ROCKS. :-)

So far I've have done a lot of work. :-)

This year I'm going to join kapa haka and touch rugby. :-)

DARE fun day

On Friday 25th October the year 5 and 6 childrenwho had done their DARE work got to go to the DARE fun day. There were two groups; one of the groups went to go to the Tenpin bowling and the other group was supposed to go to the Action sport, but instead they ended up playing Mini golf. Then we had morning tea.
After that the two groups swapped over. After that we had lunch and played around a bit and then went to the LIDO!!! Man that was awesome. Next we hopped on the bus and went back to school. When I came off the bus I said to my friend that was the best day ever!
