Production: How well did I do?

I didn't fell happy being a lizard crawling on the ground because no one saw me, except my parents! I enjoyed watching the other items in the show.

Production: How well did I do?

I enjoyed doing the production this year and I am already looking forward to the next one!
I practiced hard!

production: How well did I do?

I was good at poking my head out of the bush at the right time and I really enjoyed it because I got to see my friends.

Production: How well did I do?

I enjoyed being the mud and being part of our item! I felt really good on stage and I enjoyed watching all the other production items

How well did I do?

I felt excited and I had fun.
In the choir it was fun too, especially when I was at the front !

How well did I do?

I feel like I tried my best,
got a good laugh out of it
and it was a good experience
and amazing fun.

How well did I do?

I did well. I was a lizard behind a bush and I always poked my head out at the right time.

How well did I do?

I did very well, especially when I poked my head around the tree. I think the best thing I did was keeping my tree still and keeping it steady, staying in role!

How well did I do?

I enjoyed acting on stage. Also I'm glad I was successful presenting my part in the play.I think it went very well!

How well did we do?

I think I did good doing the tree guitar! My mask looks good !

Michaels breathtaking camp

Hi I'm Michael and I'm going to tell you all about my proud achievements at Forest Lakes.
We did 15 different activities but I'm just going to tell you about the ones I'm proud of.

Abseiling: Going down! Man it was spooky! I thought I might fall, but I did it!

Horses:Getting on the horse, sitting on it when it was eating and getting off! Man it was more scary then the abseiling! But I did it!

Confidence Course: I'm VERY proud of being the only one in my group to do the entire thing.

Flying fox: Doing it is what I'm proud of.

Water slide: Being the first boy to do it plus being the only boy in my group to do it without a life jacket and being the 2ND boy to do it!

Ten pin bowling: Being the first person to get a strike.

Archery: Firing the arrow the furtherest.

And that's all. Thanks for reading all about my proud achievements.
Please feel free to leave a comment!

The blasting experience at Forest Lakes!!

Hi! My name is Emily and just recently all the year 5 and 6's at Lytton Street School went to Forest Lakes Camp.

My goal was to do every single activity that we were going to do there and some of them were: Mud Slide, Water Slide, Horse Riding, Tenpin Bowling, Abseiling, Mini Golf, A Oreinteering Course and MUCH MUCH MORE!!!!!

Overall I achieved my goal but something that could have been better was the pool! It was like ice- freezing cold and it took you ages to warm up again!

The highlight of the camp for me was the water-slide- actually going down it!

Our extraordinary camp adventure !!!

On Wednesday the 5th May the Senior Stars went to Forest lakes camp. We did all sorts of things so let me tell you what we did!!

One of the first things we did was the water slide- that was very frightening [you will hear about it in the likes and unlikes]

The mud slide was better because you didn't go flying off the end of the slide.

We also went to the sports field and played t-ball and drop bat.

Volley ball was fun because we were playing girls vs boys.

My group got to do croquet but sadly I didn't get to have a go.

Mini golf wasn't the best for me because the course was all worn out.

Ten pin bowing was a lot of fun because I didn't want a go so the parent said I could be the person setting up the pins when someone made them fall down.

On the first night we all went for a night walk in the bush when it was pitch black! Because we couldn't see, we had to follow a rope.To make it worse the parents were jumping out at us
BOO!

The flying fox was also there and I hit my head but that didn't slow me down a bit! but I got a big bruse from it!

Abseiling is another thing that we did. Now if you have never heard of it before it is when you go up a rock and get tied to a rope and scale the rock all the way down and even get to do a couple of jumps.

We also did horse riding and I got to ride Google the horse [not the internet!] and he was the tallest horse so I could see the breath taking view better than any one else!

The things that I enjoyed the most was the horse riding, flying fox and confidence course.I enjoyed the horse riding because I love horses, flying fox because it was awesome going over the lake glistening in the sun and confidence corse and abseiling because they were challenges for me and I like challenges.

The activities that I didn't like very much were the water slide because it was heart stopping and not in a good way, because when I came off the edge I was thinking, I want to turn back! I don't want to do this any more! I ended up doing it 2 times.

So I give the whole camp a 10 out of 10!!

Preston's camp successes

At camp I went on a horse and his name was Jack .He went so fast that I could not believe how fast he was going. I did lots of activities and one of the activities was the water side. I went so fast. And I did ten pin bowling, abseiling, pool, Flying fox, mini golf, Mud side, volley ball, sports field, Confidence course. Then we had a play on the play ground and I went on the spinner. We did more activities and it was fun as. Next I went on the trampoline. I did a back flap. then I went and did more activity's and they were fun. When I did the flying fox it was fun as . In archery I got an arrow on the side of the target.
Then we went to ten pin bowling I got nine of the pin's down!
The highlight of this camp for me was getting onto a horse and staying on it!

Kaylas successful camp

I'm Kayla Isaac

The year 5&6s went to forest lakes on the 5 of May 2010
to take risks on camp with the activities that were there.

Im proud of myself because I achieved my learning goal
that we set at school. My learning goal was hard to
achive but I did it. Yeah.

Im also proud of myself for doing the flying fox because I didnt want to do it at the start
but all my team mates told mr matthews that I wanted to do
the flying fox. So I did it and wanted to do it again and again.

I overcome my fears and had a successful 3 days at camp.

Alex ds camp

Hi I'm Alex and I'm going to tell you people at home all about the year 5 and 6 camp.It was a crazy morning when my class [room 9] was stacking their bags for the long trip ahead to Forest Lakes.

On the bus everyone was yelling to try to not think about leaving their mums and dads.

When we got there everyone was so thrilled to think of what they had to do for three days. First thing we did was unpack the bus as well as eating lunch after unpacking.

After lunch and unpacking we had to go make our beds and meet our new friends and new room mates. Once we were done,we were getting ready to go to our first activity.

My group was on the spine tingling mudslide! I was the 3rd one to go down. I sat down slowly with soap on my bottom at the top of the long scary mudslide. I pushed myself down the slide. I didn't have long until I was completely covered in mud. When I got at the bottom I was sitting in a mud puddle. I screamed. The water was so cold and I was saturated. Then I went back up the stairs and did it again and again!

The next thing I was doing was archery. I got my arrow on the target 6 times.

After that my group went orienteering [hunting for letters]. My group found 6 letters in the time that we got.

Then we had dinner with all of the year 5 and 6s, so it was loud and crowded.

The next day the first thing I did was going to the gym to play basketball. My team won big time.

The next thing was a big ball of fun abseiling. My fav thing about it was the jumping.

Afterwards it was time for the horses- I had a horse called Jack.

The fun stopped when it was time for the confidence course, it was my least fav part cause I got stuck on the rope bits which was most of it.

Next we did the flying fox. I only got to do it once because a girl in my group couldn't choose to go on it or not.

The next day for the first activity, my group went to the swimming pool and the water slide. The pool was really cold but the lake that the waterslide entered into was dirty but warm.

After we were turned into ice, we went ten pin bowling and mini golfing. The bad thing about ten pin was when you got some pins down , you had to put them back up again.

After we had to pack up our stuff and pack it on the bus so we could go back to school and get our stuff and go home to our mums and dads.

It was a long 3 days but an extraordinary 3 days!

Hudson's fantastic camping experience.

Hi! My name is Hudson and I'm going to
tell you about my achievements at Forest
lakes.

At camp I overcame my fear of heights
on the Abseiling rock, a great achievement for me!
My second achievement was on the Flying fox, because I thought I would fly off it into the lake! Lucky no one did.
My thirded and last achievement is for Archery because I had never done it with a proper set before. I may not have got it on
the bullseye, but I still gave it a go. A few times I almost got it on the board.
Overall, I feel very proud of myself for taking risks.
