DARE fun day

On Friday 25th October the year 5 and 6 childrenwho had done their DARE work got to go to the DARE fun day. There were two groups; one of the groups went to go to the Tenpin bowling and the other group was supposed to go to the Action sport, but instead they ended up playing Mini golf. Then we had morning tea.
After that the two groups swapped over. After that we had lunch and played around a bit and then went to the LIDO!!! Man that was awesome. Next we hopped on the bus and went back to school. When I came off the bus I said to my friend that was the best day ever!

These are photos of the girl's cooking group. We made caramel slice . Just to be kind we decided to share our slice with the boys! We were celebrating our good behaviour!

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THE DARE PROGRAME

What I liked about the dare programe was the choice box and learning new things about drugs and peer pressure. But some of the work was really hard! The first activity was fun because everyone got to see each others special object .Second of all the unfolding story was hard as.

What I learnt in dare is you do not smoke or take drugs. This is dangerous. Also you do not go bullying just because you don't
feel good.

I also Iearnt how to play the human knots game. You need to follow instructions and you need to do teamwork to be able to solve the problem.
