te manawa trip

On the 20th of May room 9 and 12 went to Te manawa to learn about flax weaving.

We went to a flax weaving session and we made fish out of flax and that was pretty tricky.

Room 12 was not back from the square so room 9 got to go and have a look at the Mirrors and they were fun to play with. 

Yay. We could now go to the square and do the scavenger hunt around the square

 because room 12 was back. The hunt was hard but fun and the whole day was amazing.
