Te Manawa trip

It was a cold day but there was hardly any rain. When we got to school  it was freezing, it was like jack frost.  When we walked in to the class it was so warm. Then the teacher called  the roll.

Then we had to put some vests on and we went to TeManawa. The first thing we did there was have morning tea we- had to eat very fast because we were late and we had to go and do some weaving. We weaved  ika (fish) .It was pretty hard. We were lucky enough to go to the mirrors. 

Then it was lunch time. After we had finished we went on a scavenger hunt.  The hardest thing was finding the three sided thing! After we had finished we went back to school and it was home time.

 I had a good day and I learnt  it was not that easy to make a fish out of flax!
