Room Nine's Learning Adventure

On  Tuesday, 40 lucky student's got to go to Te Papa. 

At Te Papa we saw a giant frozen squid that was in a glass cage. We also got to watch a 3D movie on the squid catching fish but it looks like it's going to catch and eat you! 

Also I learnt that there is a giant ''plate'' under every volcano and when the plate gets deep enough  it then splits and it makes the volcano erupt. 

There was a huge whale skeleton on the roof and I couldn't believe it was not it's actual size! 

While we were there we had a race to see which team could find out the most information about Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and what damage weather can cause. 

We saw lots of other exciting cool stuff  but  I can't name it all!
